Fixed Foam Systems

Systems shall be installed in compliance with standards acceptable to the Director of Fire Services. Attention is drawn to British Standard 5041: Part 5.

Consultation with the Fire Services Department is strongly recommended in the design stage ofany system. Particular attention to be placed on compatibility of various foam compounds, and integration of Fire Services equipment into the system.A comprehensive ongoing training programme is necessary if the system is intended to bebrought into use by employees.
